Working Principle of Automatic Biscuit Packing Machine

Unlike other packaging machines, this machine uses 10-24 independent weighing heads. The biscuits are conveyed into a vibrating hopper located above a high-precision weighing sensor.

A central computer analyzes the weight in real time and calculates the best hopper combination to achieve the exact target weight. The selected hoppers discharge simultaneously into a central hopper, which fills the pre-made bags or vertical form-fill-seal (VFFS) bags below the hopper to minimize losses.

Operational Steps of Bakery Biscuit Packing Machine

Biscuit Loading: Bulk biscuits are gently transferred (via conveyor or elevator) into the machine’s distribution vibratory pan, ensuring even flow to all weigh heads.
Dynamic Weighing: Each head independently weighs its portion. The PLC instantly identifies the best bucket combination matching the set weight.
Synchronized Discharge: Chosen buckets open simultaneously, depositing biscuits into the bagging system. Vibration settings prevent product damage or jamming.
Bag Forming & Sealing: A vertical form-fill-seal (VFFS) unit creates pillow-style bags from roll film, seals the bottom, fills with weighed biscuits, then seals the top and cuts.
Output & Inspection: Finished bags exit to conveyors for date coding, checkweighing, or case packing.
